He was obsessed with Columbine (probably). Although, CNN announced that “Sandy Hook killer took motive to his grave.”, David Amodio, who runs the Social Neuroscience Lab at NYU, told Evan Fleischer of Esquire.com, “Although it’s a fine line, people often have what we call ‘implicit motives,’.”

Mr. Amodio also stated “The associations created by the things around us can alter our perception of a situation and promote actions, even if these influences don’t register in our conscious awareness.”

Dave Cullen, author of Columbine, found the notion of claiming Lanza didn’t have a motive “ridiculous.” He continued: “Saying he didn’t have a motive doesn’t change the reality as to whether or not he had one. Everyone has one.”
